Silver, gold ends high: Bombay Bullion Association

Mumbai, May 31: Value of spot silver today closed higher by Rs 70, to end at Rs 23,690 per kg and standard mint gold rose by Rs 35, to close at Rs 12,205 per ten gm, mainly on firm global cues, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said here today.

Following were the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 23,690 (23,620) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 12,205 (12,170) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,260 (12,230).
