IAF sergeant commits suicide

Bhuj, May 31 (UNI) A sergeant with the Indian Air Force allegedly committed suicide in his quarters at the Nalia Air Force base.

Shyamlal Shishram Kaushik (37) committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his quarter yesterday, police said.

Police said Kaushik, who hailed from Haryana, was suffering from a chronic illness and was, therefore, depressed.
