Couple commits suicide in Lucknow

Lucknow, May 31 (UNI) A young couple, who had fled from their home one month ago, committed suicide in a hotel here today.

Deep Narain(25) and Poonam Srivastava(20) were staying at Dilip hotel under Hussaingang police station since May 28 after they had fled from Ballia district one month ago.

According to police, the couple committed sucide by hanging themselves in the room early this morning.

The couple had left a mobile number one of their family members in the room who were being contacted by the police.

A suicide note had also been recovered from the room.
