BJP Government effects major transfers on day two

Bangalore, May 31 (UNI) The BJP government led by B S Yeddyurappa which assumed power in Karnataka yesterday, effected major transfers appointing V P Baligar as Principal Secretary to Chief Minister.

A release from Chief Minister's Secretariat tonight said that Mr Shankar Bidri has been appointed as the Additional DGP (Intelligence), while M Lakshminarayan is appointed Secretary to the CM.

Mr S Dayashankar will be the Private Secretary to the CM, while MR B G Nandakumar will be the Deputy Secretary.

Mr B M N Krishnaiah will be the OSD to the Chief Minister while Mr N Bhrungeesh will be the Press secretary of Mr Yeddyurappa.
