Bank manager sent to jail in bribery case
Patna, May 31 (UNI) Special CBI Judge of Patna Radheshyam Prasad today remanded a bank manager to judicial custody in a bribery case.
The accused, Santosh Kumar Kedia, Manager of Chapia branch of Uttar Bihar Kshetriya Gramin Bank, was produced before the judge and the court, after taking the accused into judicial custody, sent him to jail till June 11.
According to the charges, the accused was arrested yesterday from Chhapra by CBI sleuths while accepting a bribe of Rs 3,000 from a customer of the bank, for disbursing his loan installment.
