Baligar apointed as Principal Secretary to CM

Bangalore, May 31 (UNI) The BJP Government led by B S Yeddyurappa, which assumed power in Karnataka yesterday, effected major transfers appointing V P Baligar as Principal Secretary to Chief Minister.

A release from the Secretariat tonight said that Shankar Bidri has been appointed as the Additional DGP (Intelligence), while M Lakshminarayan will be appointed Secretary to Mr Yeddyurappa.

S Dayashankar will be the Private Secretary to the Chief Minister, while B G Nandakumar will be the Deputy Secretary.

B M N Krishnaiah will be the OSD to the Chief Minister while N Bhrungeesh will be the Press Secretary of Mr Yeddyurappa.
