5 peacocks found dead, 10 people held
Kaushambi, May 31 (UNI) Police today arrested 10 people for killing five peacocks and seized a haul of the national bird's flesh in Manjhanpur area here.
Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Ganesh Bhatt said, ''After getting the information, the officials swung into action and recovered five carcasses of peacocks from the spot.'' Besides, its flesh was also seized.
Those arrested have been sent to jail.
