Youth held with 2 weapons

Kolhapur, May 30 (UNI) Police today arrested a 25-year-old youth from Ichalkaranji town of the district and seized two pistols, including a US-made, from him.

The youth was identified as Siddappa Sidram Natekar.

Besides US-made pistol, the police also recovered a country-made pistol from him. Natekar had bought the US-made pistol from Bihar and wanted to sell the weapons in the town, police said.

A local court then remanded him to police custody till June 5, they added.
