Villagers lynch dacoit in West Champaran district
Bettiah, May 30 (UNI) Irate villagers lynched a dacoit and injured another at Baswariya Naya village in West Champaran district late last night.
Police Superintendent K.S.Anupam said here today that seven bandits attacked the village and committed dacoity in several houses. Later the villagers chased away the dacoits and caught two of them.
He said the villagers lynched Gulla Nat alias Lulla and beat up Manoj Nat. A seriously injured Manoj had been hospitalisd.
Lulla's body had been sent for post mortem.
