TN Governor, CM greet Yeddyurappa

Chennai, May 30 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala and Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today greeted Mr B S Yeddyurappa on his assuming office as Chief Minister of Karnataka.

In separate fax messages to Mr Yeddyurappa, copies of which were released to the media here, Mr Barnala and Mr Karunanidhi extended their best wishes to him.

''I wish you a long and distinguished service to the people of Karnataka,'' Mr Barnala said.

''Best wishes to you for a comfortable and happy tenure as the Chief Minister,'' Mr Karunanidhi said in his message.
