Solar cell manufacturing units to be set up in Fabcity

Hyderabad, May 30 (UNI) Solar cell manufacturing units would be set up by private players in the Fabcity, Andhra Pradesh Government's IT Advisor C S Rao said today.

He told reporters here that land had been allocated to 16 solar cell manufacturing units. The units were likely to start functioning in the next six months.

One Solar cell manufacturing unit each would shortly come up in Nellore and Visakhapatam, he added.

The first phase of semiconductor manufacturing unit of Sem India would start functioning in the next six months, he said, adding that land in the Fabcity had been fully allotted to the units.
