Indiabulls plans further expansion
Ahmedabad, May 30: Indiabulls group has launched 45 stores across the country in two retail formats -- ''Indiabulls Mart'' and ''Indiabulls Megastore''.
Indiabulls Retails General Manager (Sales) Satish Veerappa, speaking to reporters after opening Ahmedabad's second Indiabulls Megastore today, said by 2009, Megastore format would be increased to 35, supermart formats to 100 and wholesale stores to 25 across the country. ''We will soon be launching our wholesale cash-n-carry stores with our first store in Ahmedabad by the end of this year,'' Mr Veerappa said. He said plans are afoot to further expand Indiabulls' footprint in Gujarat and get into the cities of Surat and Baroda with lifestyle stores.
''Retail has been expanding at a brisk pace in Gujarat and we would want to be at the forefront of this wave and bring to the people of Gujarat world class shopping experiences,'' Mr Veerappa said.
