Glenmark gets US nod for Mometasone Furoate
New Delhi, May 30 (UNI) Pharma major Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd today said its US unit has received the Food and Drug Administration's (USFDA) approval for its Mometasone Furoate ointment and cream.
Sales for the ointment and cream in the US was more than 28 million dollars in 2008, a company statement said.
The drug is used in the treatment of inflammatory skin conditions, it added.
