Four Maoists killed in exchange of fire in AP
Visakhapatnam, May 30 (UNI) Four Maoists, including a woman, were killed in an exchange of fire between the ultras and the anti-naxal Greyhounds in the forests of the agency area in the district today.
Talking to newspersons here, district Superintendent of Police A Sabarwal said the banned Maoists had triggered land mine blasts a couple of days ago.
The Greyhounds were engaged in combing operations in the forests when the exchange of fire occurred. Firing was still going on, he said.
Police identified the woman naxal as Jhansi.
