DTC kills woman, driver arrested
New Delhi, May 30 (UNI) A woman, resident of Moti Bagh in south-west Delhi, was killed after being hit by a speeding Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus today.
Police said Shakuntala was crossing the road near Moti Bagh flyover when the bus plying between Nanakpura and Dhaula Kuan hit her.
She was rushed to the hospital, where she was declared brought dead.
The driver, Shamsher Singh, had been arrested and a case of negligent driving registered, police added.
