Bata's Darjeeling branch manager missing since last two days

Siliguri, May 30 (UNI) Leather goods major Bata's Darjeeling branch manager Rana Bardhan, who went missing since the last two days, still remains untraced, police said today.

Rana Bardhan, who left Darjeeling for Siliguri, went missing on his way on May 28, said Darjeeling SP Rahul Srivastav, and added that it must have been a case of family dispute, since the family has not yet received any ransom call from any one.

While confirming the incident, Siliguri Inspector in-Charge Prabhat Chakraborty said the family has lodged a missing diary with his station and have forwarded it to Bhaktinagar police station under Jalpaiguri district.

Bhaktinagar OC Rajen Chetri said, ''We are looking into the matter and investigation will soon begin. However, the family has not received any ransom call so far.'' UNI XC LL RD 1211
