Islamabad, May 30 : Pakistan's incarcerated nuclear scientist Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan has told Geo News that whatever he had done in the past 30-odd years, had been for the betterment of Pakistan, and added that it was a matter of pride for him to know that he was still held in high esteem by most Pakistanis.
Responding to a question, Dr. A. Q. Khan said people, who were opposing Pakistan's nuclear program, plotted against him.
He described it as highly unfortunate that foreign conspiracies find help from within the country.
According to The News, Khan said he was in the custody of the army. He hoped that his case would be settled soon.
