Annual Berlin air show opens with India as partner

Berlin, May 28, 2008: The annual Berlin air show (ILA) on Tuesday had a grand opening. The show was opened by German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Defence Minister AK Antony represented India as a partner country in the show.

The 'Sarang' team of Indian Air Force enthralled visitors with a scintillating display of aerobatics with their helicopters. A large number of Indian companies including state-run defence industries also participated in the air show.
