Guwahati, May 29 (UNI) A day after the Army claimed of having incapacitated 60 per cent of ULFA leaders, the Unified Command, spearheading the counter-insurgency operation in Assam, met at Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi's office today.
The closed door meeting was attended by Mr Gogoi, heading the Unified Command structure, GoC 4 Corps Lt Gen B S Jaswal, senior officials of the CRPF, BSF, other security agencies and state government.

The GoC of 4 corps yesterday claimed that only 40 per cent of the ULFA's leadership still survived and the Army was closing on them.
Since January 2007, altogether 2887 terrorists of various organisations were neutralised, while in the present year, 857 terrorists were eliminated.
