Soldier killed, one ultra surrender and RDX recovered in J

Srinagar, May 29 (UNI) A soldier was killed while one militant surrendered and deadly RDX was recovered in Jammu and Kashmir overnight, an official spokesman said today.

He said the soldier, who was injured in an encounter with militants at Hanuman Takri in the frontier district of Kupwara yesterday, died in hospital today.

A militant surrendered before the security forces along with one AK rifle, four magazines and one hand grenade at Sopore in north Kashmir.

He said security forces recovered ten kg deadly RDX at Trigam forest last evening. However, no one was arrested in the matter.
