Rupee flat at 42.73/74 against USD

Mumbai, May 29: Rupee remained flat at 42.73/74 against US Dollar, steady as compared to previous close after taking a dip at 42.78 per Dollar in the opening trade.

The Indian currency hovered in a tight range today, caught between exporters cashing in their Dollar holdings and Dollar demand from oil refiners to make month-end import payments, dealers said.
