Four people killed by lightning
Davanagere, Karnataka, May 29 (UNI) Four farm labourers, including a woman, were charred to death and five others suffered burns after lightning struck three villages in Harapanahalli taluk of this district, last night.
Police said the farm labourers were returning home from work when the accident occurred.
The injured were admitted to the district hospital here.
The victims were identified as Manja Naik (22), Pravin (20), Umesh (22) and Kamalamma (50), belonging to Haluvagulu, Ragimathalwad and Bendigere villages.
