CM should resign for violating code of conduct: TDP
Hyderabad, May 29 (UNI) The opposition TDP today demanded resignation of Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in the wake of EC indicting him for poll code violation.
Addressing a press conference here, TDP parliamentary party leader K Yerran Naidu said that Dr Reddy should resign immediately owning the moral responsibility for violating the election code of conduct.
He said the Chief Minister should not conduct press conference at his official residence. This was the first time that the EC was indicting the state Chief Minsiter on code violation.
He expressed hope that the TDP would win majority of Assembly seats in the bypoll, held today.
