Businessman kidnapped in North Bihar

Saharsa, May 29: Some unidentified armed men abducted a businessman at gun-point from near his residence at Dorma in North Bihar district last night, police said today.

Deputy Inspector General of Police, Kosi region, Sahab Akhtar informed here that one Mithilesh Prasad was kidnapped while he was returning home at around midnight last night before being taken to an undisclosed place.

The abductors also snatched his motorcycle.

Though no demand for ransom had yet been made to his family members, it was suspected to be handiwork of a local criminal gang, the DIG said, adding a search was on to nab the culprits and rescue the trader.
