Agrofed job scam kingpin's associate nabbed
Ambala, May 29 (UNI) An accomplice of the multi-crore Agrofed job scam kingpin Paramjit Singh Sandhu was arrested by the Maheshnagar Police last night.
Sukhwinder Singh, who had been evading arrest for the last several months, was today remanded into 14-day judicial custody when produced in the local court.
He was wanted by the Police in the false recruitment of educated youth who were robbed of lakhs of rupees by offering jobs in a fake firm.
During interrogation, he admitted his involvement in the scam and having worked for Sandhu, police said.
