TRS President not committed to Telangana development: CM
Hyderabad, May 28 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today accused Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President K Chandrasekhara Rao of not being committed to the development of Telangana and people's sentiments.
Addressing a press conference here, he said Mr Rao, when he was a Minister in the TDP regime, did not think about Telangana's development and separate Telangana. Mr Rao had complicated the Telengana issue further, he alleged.
Alleging that Mr Rao was misleading the people in the name of Telangana sentiment, Dr Reddy claimed that the TRS would be exposed in the bypolls tomorrow.
Asked whether he would consider the bypolls as a referendum on the development and on Telangana sentiment, he replied in the negative, stating that several factors were involved in any election. The elections were not being held on a particular issue, he pointed out.
