No cyclist near Taj premises

Agra, May 28 (UNI) The in wake of recent terrorist attack in the pink city Jaipur, cyclists have been barred in the nearby areas of Taj Mahal premises.

IG (Agra Zone) Gurbachan Singh said no cycle would be allowed within 300 meters radius of the historical monument.

He however, said the cyclists are frisked hourly before allowing them to enter.

Besides, security has been beefed up at other historical monuments, including Fatehpur Sikiri, Lal Quila, Sikandra Aitmudduala.

Police force have been ordered to maintain strict vigil in the area.
