Making a comeback a tough task in T20: Misbah
Bangalore, May 28 (UNI) Pakistan dashing batsman Misbah-ul-Haq today opined that it is very difficult to make a comeback in T20 game after a team makes a shaky start in the league like the IPL.
When asked what went wrong for Bangalore Royal Challengers in the IPL, he said, "T20 format is such that you should have good momentum right from the beginning and it is really difficult to make a comeback if you fail to take off properly." In an interview to Max, he said that it is difficult to adjust to T20 game for those who had played in test matches. "We have played more than two T20 matches a day in abroad. The format is such that you have to be quick right from the start." About playing in the inaugural IPL, he said, "it gave me a good opportunity to meet and exchange views with foreign players and to learn more about the game." Earlier, Misab-ul-huq, who turned 24 today, was greeted by all the players of Mumbai Indians and his team mates in Bangalore Royal Challengers.
A group of children, taking advantage of delay in start of the match due to rain, sang birthday song greeting the Pakistani star crickter.
