Lok Satta's call to voters
Hyderabad, May 28 (UNI) Calling upon voters to exercise their franchise in the Assembly byelections tomorrow, Lok Satta President Jayaprakash Narayana today said 'if people willfully abstain from voting, it means there are unwittingly endorsing the policies of loot and plunder of the traditional parties.' Addressing the press here, Mr Jayaprakash said 'some people were so disillusioned with the current day politics that they keep off the polling booth.
''It is because they have not experienced any transformation in their lives.'' He said their despair can be traced to the absence of an alternative so far. The Lok Satta has entered the electoral fray to provide them a clean and realistic alternative capable of uniting all sections of the people.
