Gurgaon admn gears up for tomorrow's bandh
Gurgaon, May 28 (UNI) In view of tomorrow's bandh call by the Gujjar community in National Capital Region (NCR) area, the Gurgaon district administration has made elaborate arrangements to maintain law and order in the district.
District Magistrate Rakesh Gupta today deployed six duty magistrates for maintaining law and order on various roads passing through the district. SDM Gurgaon (I) J S Sangwan and SDM Gurgaon (II) K K Gupta have been appointed overall incharges for their respective sub-divisions.
Deputy Commissioner Police (HQ), Mr Anil Dhawan said that police have also made arrangements for maintaining peace on Thursday in the district. All the ACPs and SHOs have been sounded to remain alert for handling any untoward situation promptly.
