Double murder accused's lawyer alleges contempt of court by cops
Noida, May 28 (UNI) The lawyer of Dr Rajesh Talwar, accused of killing his daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj, today moved an application in a local court, alleging contempt of court by the Noida police.
Talwar's counsel M P Singh moved an application in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Gautam Buddha Nagar, A K Singh, charging police with going against the directions of the court by interrogating the accused in his absence.
He claimed that police did not inform him and interrogated Dr Talwar during police remand.
The court has set May 30 as the next date of hearing.
The CJM had remanded Dr Talwar to three-day police custody yesterday after police said it wanted to recover the weapon of crime from him and interrogate him further for the double murder.
