District Inspector of Schools shot at

Jaunpur, May 28 (UNI) A District Inspector of Schools was shot at and wounded by a teacher here today.

Anjani Kumar Srivastava, teacher at Sri Krishan Dutta Inter College, opened fire Dr Dinesh Chand Pandey, following a spat over salary, police said.

Dutta, who sustained severe bullet wound, was hurriedly taken to district hospital. Later, he was reffered to Varanasi.

Meanwhile, senior police and administrative officials rushed to the spot.

A search to nab the absconding accused was on.
