Development activities will help Cong in elections: APCC

Hyderabad, May 28 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President D Srinivas today said developmental activities and welfare schemes initiated by the Congress government during the last four years would help the party candidates win the majority of the seats in tomorrow's bypolls.

Addressing a press conference here, he said the people had faith in the state government as the trend was in favour of the Congress.

He claimed that the party would win nine Assembly and two Lok Sabha seats.

Active participation of the party leaders and workers in the election campaign had helped to create an awareness among the people about the welfare schemes of the government, he said.
