Cops meet robbers after breaking into the same house!

Melbourne, May 28 : Misfortune was peeping through the window for these thieves, quite literally, when they entered a house through the window and were welcomed by policemen.

A couple of thieves got a bolt from the blue to see the police when they entered a Melbourne house for kicking off a midnight raid.

However, the police weren't waiting for them. In fact, this was an equal shocker to the cops as well.

This Melton property was reportedly being used for growing hydroponic cannabis, and the detectives were amidst a raid to arrest the resident, a man in his 20s.

Though the surprised burglars managed to flee, they were finally caught a couple of days later, said Det Sen-Sgt Paul Cassidy, of Melton CIU.

"It is unusual," News.com.au quoted him, as saying.

But he did not reveal whether the burglars had been after money or drugs.

Meanwhile, the three arrested men, all in their 20s, have been remanded to appear in court.
