Brits' baggage costs more than their holiday!

London, May 28 : Holidays for Britons are far less expensive than the baggage they carry when they leave for a trip, reveals a new research.

Their suitcases are stacked with pricey belongings worth much more than the cost of their holidays, reports The Sun.

UK residents stuff their bags with not only with clothes but also carry gadgets and toiletries worth 1,572 pounds, while their average two-week holiday costs them only 916 pounds.

In fact, the poll of 5,000 people for Holiday Inn revealed that Britons carry a bag worth 1,109 pounds even on a short UK break costing 349 pounds.

Usually, Brit suitcases have an average 618 pounds worth of clothes, of which 143 pounds worth of clothes is not worn at all.

Other than this, the holiday-goers also pack 130 pounds of shoes, 50 pounds accessories, 56 pounds toiletries, 149 pounds camera and 100 pounds mobile.
