BJP organises rally against rising prices

Nashik, May 28 (UNI) BJP city and district units today organised a rally to register their protest against rising prices.

The rally commenced from Nehru Chowk area of the city and concluded at the District Collectorate. BJP city president Vijay Sane, secretary Gopal Patil and other office-bearers participated in the rally.

Deputy Mayor and Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha city president Ajay Boraste said ''Prices have have gone up tremendously and as far as our city is concerned, criminal activities have also increased. We have organised this rally to make people aware of this and garner their support.'' Participants of the rally shouted slogans against rising food and petrol prices and government policies, during the morcha. A memorandum was given to the District Collector on the occasion.
