Zardari, Nawaz agree on transfer of President's powers to PM

Islamabad, May 27 : Pakistan People's Party co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan Muslim League-N chief Nawaz Sharif in their meeting on Tuesday agreed on transferring the President Pervez Musharraf's powers to the Prime Minister.

The proposed constitutional package prepared by the PPP will be provided to the PML-N today.

After holding meeting with Nawaz Sharif here in Punjab House, Zardari said the constitutional package will be tabled in Parliament after taking PML-N into confidence.

Law Minister Farooq H Naek will present the draft of the proposed package to Sharif.

Sharif on the other hand said that he will be able give his viewpoint on the package after going through its content in detail, The News reported.
