Rs five lakhs robbed from UBI branch
Purulia, May 27 (UNI) At least Rs 4,81,000 was looted from UBI's Adra branch under Kashipur police station late this afternoon.
Reportedly, the miscreant entered the bank and commanded the cashier to hand over the money to him, after which he fled towards the Jharkhand border, crossing Raghunathpur on a motorcycle.
Police said that they have not been able to nab the miscreant as yet.
