Aarushi murder: Rajesh Talwar's bail plea rejected

Noida, May 27: On Tuesday, the bail application of Aarushi's father (Rajesh Talwar) got rejected by the district court. Moreover, Dr Talwar is sent to 3-days police remand. STF is to interrogate Rajesh Talwar- the main accused of Noida double murder. Rajesh Talwars bail plea has been rejected on account of insufficient proof.

The bail application of Dr Rajesh Talwar came up today before a district court after being deferred on Monday following a section of lawyers protesting against police firing on agitating Gujjars in Rajasthan. Following this the police bundled the prime accused Talwar into the van and back to prison to ensure his safety. Reports suggest Talwar's lawyer was also assaulted by the agitating lawyers, even as Talwar's defence counsel initiated the bail proceedings in the courtroom.
