6 injured in bomb explosion in Kathmandu
Kathmandu, May 27 (UNI) About half a dozen people were injured when a bomb exploded near the celebration of Republic by Civil Society at Ratna Park here this afternoon.
At least a half dozen were injured and were taken to Bir Hospital, the organiser of the Civil Society said.
Ranabir Sena, a little known fundamentalist Hindu royalist, has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
The group had also exploded a minor bomb at Birendra International Convention Centre where the first CA meeting would take place tomorrow to declare the abolition of monarchy.
The same group had also claimed responsibility for a bomb explosion at the house of Civil Society leader Devendra Raj Pandey but none was injured.
