Pakistani Taliban to sue Musharraf

Lahore, May 26 : The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has said that it will sue President Pervez Musharraf in a Federal Shariah Court for the deaths of people at the Jamia Hafsa and in the Tribal Areas, if their peace accord with the government succeeds.

In an open letter to the government, the army and the public, TTP spokesman Muslim Khan said that militant groups had come into being as a reaction to the pro-American policies of the previous government.

Khan further hoped that the new government would not support Musharraf like the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid had done in the past, the Daily Times reported.
