Eicher nods agreements with Volvo

New Delhi, May 26: Commercial vehicle maker Eicher Motors Ltd (EML) today said its Board of Directors has approved draft of definitive agreements to be executed with Sweden-based Volvo. ''Board of Directors of Eicher Motors at its meeting held on May 24, 2008, has approved draft of definitive agreements to be executed with AB Volvo, Sweden (Volvo),'' the company said in a statement.

The agreement is to carry out commercial vehicles business along with components and engineering design services business through EML's step down subsidiary Eicher Motors India Ltd, it added.
