Shiv Sena's Anand Paranjpe takes lead in first round
Mumbai, May 25 (UNI) Shiv Sena's Anand Paranjpe today took a lead of 10,200 votes in Thane Lok Sabha constituency at the end of first round of counting over his nearest rival Sanjeev Naik of NCP.
The counting began at 0800 hrs this morning at APMC market, Navi Mumbai with over 3500 EVMs amid tight security.
Mr Anand Paranjpe got over 38,000 votes while Naik was lagging behind at 28,000 votes.
