Sangma's daughter wins Meghalaya's Tura Lok Sabha seat
Tura (Meghalaya), May 25 : Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) candidate Agatha Kongkal Sangma, the daughter of former Lok Sabha Speaker, Purno Sangma, won the Tura Lok Sabha by-election in Meghalaya on Sunday by a record margin.
Agatha defeated Congress party candidate Zenith Sangma by a margin of 181,760 votes.
