People have rejected Congress rule: Munde
Mumbai, May 25 (UNI) General secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Gopinath Munde today said results of the Karnataka elections prove that people have rejected the Congress rule due to inflation, unemployment and reduction in national security.
Bypolls for the Thane Lok Sabha constituency of Maharashtra, which has been won by Shiv Sena, also shows that people were fed up with the Congress rule and wanted a change, a statement issued by Mr Munde here said.
''Shiv Sena has won the bypolls, inspite of the campaigning done by leaders and ministers of the Congress-NCP combine in Thane, which denotes the mindset of the voters,'' Mr Munde said.
"The victory spell of BJP has started and will end with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) forming the Union government with L K Advani becoming the Prime Minister of India and simultaneously the Shiv Sena-BJP combine coming to power in Maharashtra," the release added.
