Karnataka victory is a slap to Congress-NCP

Mumbai, May 25: Maharashtra BJP president Nitin Gadkari today said the BJP's victory in Karnataka and the Sena's imminent win in the Thane Lok Sabha by-election is a slap to the Congress-NCP combine.

This is the beginning of the Congress' downfall and it will continue in Maharashtra too in the elections next year, Mr Gadkari said in a statement here today.
