JD (S) faction to merge with SP
Kozhikode, May 25 (UNI) Janata Dal (S) Surendra Mohan Faction would merge with the Samajwadi Party (SP) headed by former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayan Singh Yadav, soon.
The decision was taken at a state council meeting of the party here today, its Parliamentary Party Leader and State President M P Veerandrakumar told reporters.

On Karnataka election, he blamed Janata Dal National (S) President and Former Prime minister H D Deva Gowda for the set back sufferred by it.
''Unholy alliance the JD(S) forged with the communal forces in the Karnataka earlier is the main cause of its poor performance in the Assembly elections, the result of which is coming today,'' he added.
