Cool to persist for more days in Delhi
New Delhi, May 25 (UNI) The national Capital is likely to be lashed by thunderstorm this evening to be followed by slight rains and the skyline will continue to be enveloped with clouds, maintaining coolness in the city prevailing for more than a week.
The minimum temperature was today recorded at 24.5 degrees Celcius, two degrees below normal and the maximum temperature at 35.8 degrees Celcius, five degrees below normal.
The cool weather, unusual for the month of May, is likely to persist next few days with Weathermen forecasting possiblity of thundersquall and light rains in northern parts of the country.
However, tomorrow the maximum temperature may register a slight rise touching 36 degrees Celcius.
