Silver, gold end weaker: BBA

Mumbai, May 24: Both the precious metals today ended weaker with Silver closing at Rs 24,900, registering a small loss of Rs ten per kg, and Pure Gold ended at Rs 12,855, down by Rs five per ten gm, on better offers by local stockists, induced by bearish advice from global markets, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following were the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 24,970 (24,980) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 12,800 (12,800) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,855 (12,860).
