Repolling in four polling stations in Gulbarga district peaceful
Gulbarga, May 24 (UNI) Repolling ordered by the Election Commission of India (CEI) in Gulbarga district began in four polling booths amidst tight security today.
According to official sources, the repoll began on a dull note but later picked up momentum.
Repolling was being held in Timmapur polling station in Shorapur assembly seat, Mylapur in Yadagiri, Wadi in Chithapur and Sirwar in Shahapur Taluk in the district.
The ECI has ordered repoll for Timmapur and Wadi polling stations as election officers had failed to complete the statutory formalities before the polling process was started.
